( week three ) ➙ magilou
[ Monday night, in their hut. There are very few nights like this that don't lead to Magilou chatting incessantly. Slowly, Lucina has adjusted to it, even to the point of enjoying their little talks. It's better than being by herself, certainly -- even if she's grown somewhat comfortable with solitude.
So, here we go. Once the food storage visits halt for the night... ]
Would you like to get some sleep, Magilou?
[ She already knows the answer. ]

[ She already knows the answer. ]
no subject
Nope! I'm embracing my life as an evening person now.
[she'll wear herself out eventually just give it time]
no subject
[ She's not really that upset. In fact, Lucina is smiling. ]
You're very resilient, considering how the past few weeks have been. It's admirable.
[ Although... No, that thought, Lucina keeps to herself. ]
no subject
[duh]
Laughter keeps everyone's spirits up when the going gets tough. Look at you-- you've laughed at a few of my jokes, and you seem to be holding up fairly well, too.
no subject
That's a secret, of course. ]
I imagine that's due in part to your jokes.
[ n a h ]
Actually, there was something I wish to ask you.
no subject
Uho, is this the beginning of the fabled "girl talk?" I've always wanted to partake in a session of my own!
Ask away, Lucina.
[one day she'll use Cindy again and see what happens]
no subject
I suppose you could call it that.
[ Why balk. They are both girls, and this is a conversation! (It's also girl talk in the colloquial sense, not that she's aware of it.) ]
You and Akira have become quite close.
[ That's... not a question, Lucina. ]
no subject
[also she stares. blankly]
No.
[MAGILOU. . .]
He's just an interesting character, that's all. I wouldn't call us close, but that's because I don't do the whole "close" thing.
no subject
[ That said, she takes Magilou at face value, because of course she does. A tad naive, Lucina's first instinct is to trust the people around her.
Her smile shortens. ]
I'm sorry. You two are in each other's company so frequently, I thought...
no subject
Hey. I'll let you in on a little secret, actually.
[she leans forward, one hand pressed against the side of her mouth]
I think he might be stalking me.
[MAGILOU NO]
no subject
There's somewhat condemning in it, but also the wry beginnings of amusement. ]
I hardly think that is the case.
[ Smiling again, she adds -- ]
If anything, I would presume it's the other way around. [ :) ]
no subject
[awfully defensive there, isn't she]
no subject
[ The tables have turned so much.
Lucina is as close to grinning as she ever might come. ]
no subject
[LUCINAAAAAA]
no subject
[ She gives other witches a bad name.
Anyway -- ]
I thought you might want to talk, if you were at all confused about the young man. It's what I would do for my sister, if she were here.
[ :) ]
1/2
[Lucina]
[RIGHT TO THE JUGULAR? hitting on family feelings at the same time!!]
[she's left a little speechless, just sort of. staring, with wide eyes and her mouth slightly open]
no subject
You're actually pretty cutthroat when it comes down to it, huh?
[totally avoiding the question]
no subject
[ She's dealt with a lot of weirdos in her day. As ever, she greets eccentricities with a smile, when she has the luxury of doing so. ]
So?
no subject
He's got a fire in his eyes, you know? A gaze so sharp it could cut a person to ribbons. It makes him. . . stand out, I suppose.
no subject
I see.
[ Her smile continues, albeit settling. ]
Do you enjoy spending time with him?
no subject
[. . . her gaze narrows a bit, the more she picks up on Lucina's meaning, here]
Nnnnope.
[???]
Every time I with him I get this strange sensation like I've been stabbed in the chest.
[. . .????????]
no subject
[ This time, Lucina is taking Magilou completely seriously. ]
I admit, I've never been in love, but when my mother fell for my father, she said—
[ but is Magilou going to stop this or is she going to let her finish ]
1/2
no subject
Sorry, I'm allergic to the word "love." Every time I hear it applied to my own emotions, I can't help but let out a shrill shriek!
[wtf Magilou]
no subject
An unimpressed face.
Magilou, please. :| ]
You're being unnecessarily theatrical.
no subject
[¯\_(ツ)_/¯]
no subject
Lucina picks up her pillow and throws it right at Magilou's face. ]
no subject
[it smacks her in the face, and with an unnecessarily theatrical (HA) wail, she falls backwards onto her mattress]
no subject
[ It's said, voice tinged with a laugh. The lingering remains thereof.
She'll call over, as innocent as anything, ]
Are you alright?
no subject
[oh noooooooo]
Murdered, by the pillow of my very own partner!!
no subject
[ :) ]
Perhaps I will finally get some sleep tonight.
no subject
[Lucina's getting really good at handling her now]
no subject
[ Since she doesn't want to talk about boys! Let's just go to bed... :) ]
Sleep well.
no subject
OoooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooooooOOOOOOOOOO!
[now she's making ghostly noises]
no subject
no subject
[can she really sleep through this]
no subject
Her eyelids twitch. ]
no subject
It is Iiiiiii, Magilooooou, here to enact revenge upon yooooooooou!
no subject
... Lucina continues to pretend to be asleep. (Spoilers: it's not a very convincing act.) ]
no subject
no subject
She'll sit back up, though. ]
Your aim is better than your ghosting capabilities.
